[b]Smokeleaf Lite[/b]
is a mod aimed at changing smokeleaf to be less deadly, and less stereotypical, while also adding a small production chain. Think of it as a Smoke Industry Lite, if you will, or lite as in it doesn't kill you anymore.

[b]GENERAL[/b]
I've never been happy with Rimworld's take on Smokeleaf, my goal was to add as little as possible but still come to an effective outcome; most importantly lowering the reprocussions of smokeleaf while also adding more versatility. The mod itself is in it's *final* form and should provide alternate solutions to several early game situations as well as a safer more reliable way to relieve your colony's stress.
The main changes were made to the Hediffs of Smokeleaf. Smokeleaf no longer effects consciousness but the stats in which consciousness directly effects. Being "high" is also broken into 3 stages: buzzed, high, and stoned; while also reducing the overall hunger need, but increasing eating speed.
The only way to currently die from smokeleaf is sleeping through malnutrition or go through withdrawal with extremely low consciousness. [i](other things involved)[/i] Your chances of getting carcinoma have been completely removed and replaced with Asthma. In place of Asthma is the new hediff: Pneumonitis. It sounds bad but it could be equated to a bad sore throat and should be treatable with medicine.
Outside of consuming smokeleaf I have also added a recipe for hemp cloth, herbal medicine, chemfuel, and hash.
Hemp cloth is slightly more durable and more insulative than regular cloth but isn't as beautiful or as good at letting heat escape.
The herbal medicine recipe was added as an alternative to healroot. The recipe itself uses cloth, from hemp or cotton, to bind it together in a means of balance.
Chemfuel refining from straight smokeleaf, I think it equates to a slightly better yield than you would get from straight smokeleaf in the vanilla game, I have tweaked it since my original math though so it may not line up exactly.
Lastly, hash is the hard version of smokeleaf, but mainly should be used for trade. I took inspiration from Kenshi.

A: Content wise more than likely. Balance wise. No.
Mainly I wanted to add a few more uses for smokeleaf outside of joints, maybe take some of the demonization away.

COMPATIBILTY
This was made to touch as little as possible, I honestly didn't even want to make the research. So it should be compatible with anything that doesn't mess with smokeleaf. It should be safe(?) to add to existing games. Removing may be tricky as it does add a drug. I'll work on a toggle for it but I only know how to make VFE toggles .
