Rim-Fogmen! a Rim-Kenshi add-on pack [Deprecated/Pending]

Rim-Kenshi: Addon Pack is a pack based adding various additions, features, and tweaks to Vex's Rim-Kenshi series that aims to add a bit more Kenshi to your RimWorld. Changelog: 1.2.1 - Fix for Fog Sickness randomly appearing on people during stress (maybe) Hotfix cause I broke babies 1.2.0 - File Restructure C# integration GENERAL This mod pack is aimed at adding general Kenshi bloat to Vex Tree's Rim-Kenshi Series that wouldn't otherwise fit in the main mods. The three origin mods are each lightweight enough and ready to go right out of the package and I don't want that to change but I also would like a few more caveats from Kensh. Rim-Kenshi Lore [insert adaptions from kenshi to fit rimworld] Intended max Fogmen settlements is four: Civil, Savage, Fog, Player. This should only be done if roleplaying with all Hiver factions turned off as all Hive Queens are dead. Fogmen The Fogmen are a savage group of Hivers that live within Kenshi's Fog Islands. They are thought to be controlled by a brain affecting parasite, but the details are unknown. Fogmen are barely capable fighters, throwing themselves on you biting and scraping and are individually very fragile. What they lack in personal strength they make up for in numbers, even a group of the most skilled warriors can be overcome by their masses. Any victims they are able to down and not outright kill are captured and then offered up to their respective Fog Princes in a ritualistic feast. Special Incident: Fogmen Horde A cross between a Vanilla Manhunter pack and a Slaver Raid from VFE: Vikings. They'll appear in mass and attempt to eat or kidnap your colonists. Unlike other humanoids they are only interested in your flesh and shouldn't steal or attempt to raise your colony. Warning: Fogmen behave differently than other enemies and will not stop attacking when your pawn is down. In Progress: Beep Quest: Beep Fog Backstories- Now that their behavior is closer to how it should be I'll go through and update and slim these down Skeletons: Faction replacement of Ancients. Stranger in Black Replacement Future Plans: Holy Nation Faction (Medieval?) Ideology: Seasonal Extol Vitues Event United Cities Faction (Industrial?) More Fogmen Incidents, a random pass through, settlement stuffs SUPPORT Q: Do you plan to stick around this time? A: No. I come and go in games and I just don't have the mental faculty currently, brain tumor, to actually keep up with mods while I'm not actively playing the game. For anyone wanting to take over feel free, my "code" is free ot copy and use. FEATURE LIST Scenarios: • The Hive-less Queen - Start with 1 Queen • Vagabond Hive - Start with 1 Queen more chosen at random Player Factions: • Hive Queen • Southern Hive • Southern Hive Queen NPC Factions: • Fogmen - Optional Cannibal Race (wip) Incidents: • Fogmen shouldn't spawn regular raids but only a special incident -Functions similar to vanilla manhunter but with an extreme risk of kidnapping Races: • Fogmen • Fog Heavy • Fog Prince Changes Hivers: • Gramatical and Theming tweaks • Hivers can now bite, needs tweaking • (Hive Armory) Same but Worker Drones now wear Chain Vests • (VEF) Civil Bases: Temperate, Desert, Arid, Tropical Rainforest & Swamp • (VEF) Savage Bases: Desert & Extreme, Arid, Tropical Rainforest & Swamp • (VEF) Fogmen Bases: Arid, Desert, Tropical Swamp • (VEF+Wastelands) Fogmen: Only Temperature Appropriate Wastelands • No Hive Armory Installed: Hivers now wear vanilla gear during raids Changes Shek: • Removed Supremecy errorcode • (VEF) Bases: Temperate, Arid, Desert Changes Skeleton: • Stranger in Black foundation • New Trait for Stranger in Black FAQ Q: But does it all work? A: Probably not! Q: Can I play as the fogmen? or recruit them? A: Currently no. You might be able to get the game to let you recruit them but they'll be useless. They have lowered construction and mining skills, and a permanent mental state that blocks social interactions. Q: Fog sickness appeared on something other than a fogman what do I do? A: Kill it, it's lost to you. But seriously, let me know if Fog Sickness appears on anyone as it shouldn't. Q: Is this mod complete? A: Nope. Q: Save game compatible? A: Just play it safe and say no. Q: Is this CE compatible? A: Zambie waves. But really dude, I don't even know. COMPATIBILTY Mod Support: • Babies and Children (w/Age Matters 2.0) - Hivers now hatch as "pupa" and take on Hiver traits - Baby cry replaced with various clicking noises • Vanilla Expanded Framework - Custom biome spawning to mimic Kenshi race locations - Regrowth Wastelands: Fogmen bases restricted to area Incompatible: Uh.
