The Formic Race returns!
Not since the dark days of 0.16 have these formics shown their ugly mugs. I had to bring them back. They're basically an ant race.
Formics are slightly faster than humans, with slightly faster mining speed and slightly higher mining yield.
Two factions: black, friendly, outlander - red, hostile, tribal
Player faction/scenario included (black formics crashlanded, red formic tribal)
They are insectoids; they'll butcher to insect meat, and sometimes drop insect jelly when killed.
No additional items, etc.
To do:
Flesh out the factions - they're basic civil outlander and hostile tribal
Ideology settings for the factions (these guys were made to be Tunnelers)
More faction/pawn/settlement names
Thanks to Nackblad for the textures, and to Catatafish and anyone else involved from the old RimFactions mod. [It was a bit of a pain to clean up the old colored textures, but in case anyone's curious, use a hue tool to turn red to yellow, then greyscale, then lighten. Now we have textures that can use Humanoid Alien Races' coloring.]
