DESCRIPTION
The [b]KALIX-K4[/b] is a modular countermeasure system designed to enhance the survivability of the VLKT-M-4500 "Vulta" in high-threat environments. Integrated directly with the vehicle’s built-in [b]Kalix Autochaff Module[/b], the system provides both automatic and manual defensive response against guided threats.
The system consists of [b]two forward-mounted launchers[/b], each carrying [b]7 countermeasure cartridges[/b], for a total of [b]14 deployments[/b]. Positioned at the front of the vehicle, the launchers ensure optimal dispersion and coverage during evasive maneuvers.
KALIX-K4 is intended for environments where ambush, sensor-guided weapons, or battlefield surveillance pose a significant risk, allowing the Vulta to continue its mission with reduced exposure.

As guided weapons and sensor-assisted targeting became more common across modern battlefields, the Sawyer Isles Defense Force identified a critical vulnerability in wheeled support platforms operating near contested zones.
The KALIX-K4 was developed to address this gap.
Rather than relying solely on passive armor, the system focuses on disrupting enemy tracking and guidance systems before impact. By integrating directly with the Vulta’s onboard defensive architecture, KALIX-K4 allows vehicles to react automatically to threats while still offering crews full manual control when operating in complex environments.
Today, the system is widely deployed across SI.DF vehicles assigned to high-risk missions, where survivability and rapid response are paramount.
