Super simple cruise missile launch platform built from existing components. Can be configured with a variety of missile types, and is designed to work in all standard hangers.
Built from:
Faulkner-Muir Weapons pack (RGM-30 & RGM-16 cruise missiles)
HEVS EHCS - 2x2 Weapon and Hardpoint Controller (Fire control)
Instructions
1. Place a waypoint on target location
2. Input coordinates of the target with the keypad
3. Select weapon on the touchscreen (left side box will indicate red when a weapon is selected)
4. Press the fire button
5. Profit
Notes:
-Included is an angle-of-launch control lever for use with direct fire missiles, should you swap those in.
-The RGM-30 is a good low level, top attack munition but the terrain following struggles with very steep hills in my testing. It's radar jamming is amazing however, so this is real good at one shotting SAM systems that are being annoying. Is also more accurate thanks to the top attack profile, and radar locks on target in the terminal flight phase.
-The RGM-16 is a faster, high flying cruise missile, and has a slant attack profile from cruise altitude. As setup currently, each missile is staggered by a height value of 100 with a max spread of 400. If you ripple off all missiles, they will cruise at different altitudes and be more survivable against air defences. Also radar locks in the terminal flight phase, but seems to be slightly less accurate than the RGM-30.
Known bugs:
-Sometimes, for no particular reason, the missile launch arm will spasm and become totally unusable till reset. I have no idea what causes this, but have mitigated it as much as possible and it seems pretty rare to occur now.
