Overview
They are Archotech infrastructure — harvesters, scouts, siege platforms — seeded on this world centuries before your ship broke apart on entry. Whatever directed them has long since gone silent. The machines have not.
The machines do not sleep, do not starve, and do not leave.They follow old routes, harvest old resources, and execute directives issued to them by something that no longer exists.
