Lomboy Galaxy

Lomboy Galaxy Airliner Restored 4-Engine Long-Range Passenger Aircraft Recovered from long-term storage at the Lomboy Aerospace Reserve Facility, 'Pride of Gore' has been meticulously restored and returned to airworthy condition. This aircraft originally served as a regional airliner, operating scheduled flights between the now-closed Gore Airport and Harewood Airport (Now Christchurch International Airport) Manufactured by Lomboy Aerospace (formerly Lomboy Aeroworks), the Galaxy series was celebrated for its rugged construction and extraordinary performance. Incredibly, the aircraft could remain airborne with up to three engines inoperative, provided the aircraft was properly trimmed—a feature that earned it high praise from pilots and engineers alike. Approximately 200 Galaxy aircraft were built during the company's post-war expansion. However, production ceased as the post-war aviation boom subsided. Thanks to their proven resilience, Galaxy aircraft were exported and operated worldwide. Surviving examples can still be found in Switzerland, the United Kingdom, and the United States. The Lomboy Galaxy is loosely based off of the Lockheed Constellation. === Aircraft Startup Checklist === 1. Throttle Up – Set engine throttles to full on the engineer's panel. 2.
