M98 1.5Ton Supply Truck
History
The M98 1.5-Ton Truck was a versatile four-wheeled utility vehicle developed just before the outbreak of full-scale war in the Pacific. Designed for speed, reliability, and ease of maintenance, the M98 quickly became the go-to light transport solution for military and civilian operations alike. It could carry small loads of equipment, medical supplies, personnel, or tow lightweight trailers, and was often repurposed as a field workshop, radio vehicle, or mobile command post.
Its compact design allowed it to maneuver through narrow roads, jungle paths, and city ruins with relative ease. Though lightly built and unarmored, the M98 was quite fast and had a decently low fuel consumption. A favorite among engineers, medics, and staff officers, it often served far from the front lines but was durable enough to see occasional frontline service when pressed into emergency roles.
The M98 saw widespread international adoption. Australia, Canada, and New Zealand employed it in large numbers, with New Zealand eventually license-producing the vehicle domestically. Several South American nations also imported surplus M98s during and after the war. It was gradually replaced in the 1950s by the M35 2.5ton Truck

Startup Procedure

[*] Hold the start, press down the throttle (W key) and press down the clutch at the same time (hotkey 1)
[*] Once engine runs let go of the buttons and you can start driving.

Further Notes
- it has Mouse aim steering
- the Truck shifts into gears when you hold clutch and move the gearshift
- this truck sucks, if it doesnt work I dont care
About the Project
The Pacific Front is an Alternate History Project about the time from the 1940s through to the 70s in a time of turmoil, war and desperation. It focuses on the countries around the pacific ocean, like the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Russia, China and a lot more. All the the project vehicles are fictional in nature and have their own story, lore and design. The Projects creations have a tendency for high fidelity, decoration and multi crew operation.
