1284Z: Fleet Keys for Emergency Vehicles [B42.16

Check out the sister mod! > 1284T: Fleet Keys for Taxis & More < Both mods are fully compatible.
"Is XYZ Vehicle Mod supported?" Yes... Maybe. For now, 1284Z has a fuzzy keyword search to try to give fleet keys to Emergency Vehicles added by other mods. No guarantees, as it's based on what those vehicles are named in the game files, but most should theoretically be supported out of the box. If they didn't name their police car something reasonable, 1284Z won't be able to see it. I plan to eventually go through the popular mods and manually flag all the custom Police, Fire, and Ambulances they add to guarantee support for them.
Features Changes emergency services vehicles to use shared fleet keys instead of spawning with unique keys. Police, Fire, Ambulance, Forestry, and Louisville-city emergency fleets now behave like real-life keyed-alike service vehicles, making the municipal keys useful for an entire fleet instead of just for the car it came from. Across most of Knox Country, standard emergency vehicles (Police, Fire, Ambulance) all use the same key: the Emergency Services 1284Z. This is fairly realistic for 1993 if you squint a little. Because Louisville is supposed to be a pain in the ass, once you are north of the military checkpoint, emergency services each have their own silos. That ambulance key only works in ambulances, fire for fire, etc.. To get a little taste of that on the outside, Park Ranger vehicles all use their own fleet key, too.
Supports Build 42.16 (Singleplayer working // Multiplayer untested, but should theoretically work) I have no plans to make a B41 version, but anyone is welcome to port it themselves.
This mod is inspired by the use of real-world fleet keys, the namesake being Ford’s 1284X, an ubiquitous “default” key pattern used for a staggering number of police and other municipal vehicles across the 20th century. If you didn’t specifically ask for your fleet to use a secure key, they probably gave your whole department the 1284X. So if you had a 1284X, you could get into most police cars in America.
