Foxian League

This mod adds the Foxian and Greater Foxian xenotypes, a race of fox people unique to a specific rimworld (the one you just crashed into). They are specialized in channeling their own psychic sensitivity to strengthen themselves physically or manipulating others psychically. They suffer from a genetic condition that guarantees that their children will be pure Foxians or greater Foxians, and their civilization is predominantly female. Additionally, this mod adds 20 new genes, 7 new weapons (2 are locked behind the Royalty DLC), 3 new armors, 2 headgears, 3 new accessories, 2 new factions, 7 different books mostly with lore for these new factions, and a new starting scenario. Mods that change the behavior of the genes redistribution between the parents will still work. They will just be overridden by pawns who possess the genetic purity gene. [*] The Genetic Purity gene might not work with other genes that change how pawns reproduce. It will not cause any game-breaking errors, but the gene might simply not work as intended (for example, the oviparous gene from VE Saurid will not trigger the genetic purity even if the pawn is considered a foxian). [*] Vanilla Psycasts Expanded: Replace the plasteel and hyperweave cost for some armors with eltex. [*] Rim Languages: Added the Foxian language used by the Foxian League and Blood Rain factions. [*] Melee Animation: all the melee weapons are patched for this mod, and some of them have colored trails. The mod was made with this one in mind and grants you a way to permanently increase the psychic sensitivity of your pawns to help you reach the higher tiers of some genes, along with some extra outfits and weapons to boost your psychic sensitivity. [*] The Royalty DLC is recommended to get access to the special persona variants of some of the weapons (and especially to get Vanilla Psycast Expanded to work). [*] The Ideology DLC is recommended to make the "Loyalty" gene work. Otherwise this gene will be replaced by the "Happy" gene. Absolutely yes ! The mod configs allow you to change which xenotype would be spawned upon birth. If I want to use the genetic purity gene with other xenotypes than the Foxians and Greater Foxians, should I still need a Foxian mother to trigger the first case ? No, you can disable the "pawn must be a Foxian" condition in the mod config. Additionally, you can change the probabilities to get Xenotype A or B. These options allow you to use this gene for non-Foxian colonies (note: these changes will also apply to Foxians, so don't use any Foxians on such playthroughs :>). Can I replace the xenotypes from the genetic purity with my own custom ones ? Yes and no. You will need to convert your custom xenotype to a "normal" one to get it to appear on the list. Why does my Psychic Manipulation / Chanelling / Protection does not update immediately when the psychic sensitivity of a pawn changes ? It will take approximately 3-5 seconds for the changes to register. I made it this way in order to not make your game super laggy (gene ticks will destroy your TPS in the long term if not optimized properly). I am experiencing a bug. First, make sure this bug comes from the mod and not another one. Is this compatible with CE ? No. Feel free to patch the mod for CE if you want. Can I translate / patch this mod ? Sure ! Can I add / remove this to an existing save ?
