Rimworld meal prep. I'm sure there are dozens of other, competently-made mods out there that do more than this mod and do it better. All this mod does is add recipes for bulk cooking simple, fine, and lavish meals - cook 10 at a time. Bulk cooking meals requires 4, 8, and 10 cooking respectively. It's also locked behind a research requirement (450 base cost). I made the WorkAmount values 10x that of the equivalent single meal recipe, so the only time you're saving is from not needing to make trips to the refrigerator after every meal. This mod also removes the need for kitchen stockpiles or stools next to your cooking station (which stopped working for me in 1.0)
1.4 overhaul: Make meals in bulk; updated to be competitive with 1.3 changes. Due to the research cost, cooking meals in bulk requires 5% less work, plus time saved due to fewer trips. I've also tidied up the bills UI so my mod doesn't clutter everything so much. Bulk recipes for vegetarian and carnivore meals have also been added. Added a separate research tab to reduce potential conflicts. I attempted to add bulk recipes for survival meals and pemmican, but for whatever reason cannot get the recipes to appear. I made a dozen with all the different meal types, but for whatever reason, even straight-up copying the Core recipe and editing single values, does not show up in-game. You'll see my vestigial work-around for the fact that one recipe cannot have two separate research requirements in the research tab, but I can't be assed to fix that now. YOU CAN'T KEEP THIS NERD DOWN
Known issue (possibly fixed...?): While testing, I noticed that pawns will occasionally use too many raw ingredients when cooking meals (exactly one extra, to be exact. This equates to like 0.5% waste). I cannot reliably reproduce it and I cannot figure out what the issue could possibly be. I did not notice this occurring in the final draft/testing phase of the mod, so I'm hoping it's no longer an issue, but consider this a full disclosure. If it occurs in your game, consider it a feature, ya know? Sometimes when scaling a recipe up, you just round that 5/6 of a cup of rice to a full cup; nobody'll notice.
I've tested this mod and bulk meals still end up being a touch faster, but if you still want a speed bonus for cooking in bulk, check out Duckling's guide on modifying mods here: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1274685247 and change the workAmount values to whatever you please. 60 ticks = one real second.
