Riot Armor for CE

Provides an industrial era armor that protects your colonists limbs better than flak wear at the cost of being heavier. Meant as an armor set that fits inbetweeen Flak Jackets / Pants and Recon Armor, does not cover the chest as that's what an armored vest is for. Has a sharp armor of 13 and Blunt armor of 20 when made with cloth at normal quality. This beats most Armor Piercing Pistol rounds and FMJ Rifle rounds, but AP Rifle rounds will still punch through. FMJ Rifle rounds and some revolver rounds have enough blunt penetration to cause bruising as well, and Shotgun slugs will knock your colonist on their ass. So the best strategy with this armor is still not to get shot. After researching Flak Armor they can be crafted at a machining table. The suit will cost 80 steel and 95 cloth, the pants will cost 30 steel and 75 cloth. Takes about 6 in game hours for a colonist with a crafting level of 8 to make the suit and pants. As durability goes down, so does armor effectiveness. The suit isn't meant to get you past more than one or two very bad encounters without repairs or replacement depending on your mod set. It's not meant to stop you from getting downed, it's meant to stop you from getting shredded and bleeding out from limb damage. Bulk and Mass balanced around a Pawn in good health with a M16A1, 300 rounds of 5.56, a Backpack, a Tactical Vest, both pieces of Riot Armor, an Armored Vest, a Helmet, 1 Packaged Survival Meal, and 2 packs of Medicine. So make sure to equip your colonists with a backpack and Tactical Vest so they can hold all this stuff. You can put a Parka, Jacket, or Flak Jacket over it for utility, style, and a bit of extra armor respectively. Not tested without Combat Extended so it's listed as a requirement. If you'd like to make a non CE version, go ahead. Texture based on the Frag Suit from Combat Extended Armors by the Combat Extended Team Feel free to use the mod however you want, edits, reuploads, retextures, whatever! Let me know if it has the intended play effect. Hopefully it feels like your colonists aren't too squishy or too powerful besides the errant neck or torso shots that get through Helmets and Vests, which again, this outfit does not cover as I intend them to synergize together. If they do get downed I hope most of the time it's from bruising pain.
