This mod contains a collection of patches that try to harmonize a variety of mods with Medieval Overhaul. This is my first mod and I haven't playtested much so any feedback or suggestion is appreciated.
For people who use SeedsPlease:Lite, you can use Cherry Picker to remove the MO wheat, sugar, and herb for the seed extraction recipe to work with the VCE changes.
Compatible with Medieval Overhaul Tweaks and Medieval Cross-Functionality Patches+ probably. I use both and haven't noticed an issue.
Supported mods and their changes are listed below:
- AA pawns now spawn in Dark Forests and Ancient Forests at the same rate as temperate forests
- A permanent version of the charcoal kiln is now available
- Charcoal kiln and the bench recipe for charcoal now converts wood to charcoal at 150% efficiency (1 wood log = 1.5 charcoal)
- The kiln and bench recipe now use MO wood types
- Recipes that use Apothecary's tallow now use MO's tallow
- Charcoal is now a fuel type for MO's production and heat producing buildings
- Charcoal now supports the following mods:

- Replaced steel and industrial components in the printing press with iron and medieval components
- Large meals can now be made with the cooking table
- Tents now use the wood types from MO
Expanded Materials - Metals & LITE version
- Added mineshaft recipes for iron, coal, lead, tin, and copper
- Replaces iron in cost change for EMTT's Hot Air Baloon
- Replaces Apothecary's charcoal

- Basilisks and medusas drop regular leather so they can still drop antipet
- If you have VFE-Insectoids loaded, rust monsters and annihilators also drop chitin
- Defenses now use MO components
- Dragons now spawn in MO biomes at the same rate as temperate forests
- Hotburples can now eat MO metals and components and can dig up MO ores
- Hotburples and Gronkles may now drop MO gemstones when sheared
SRTS Expanded Medieval Tweaks and Translation:
- Replaced steel with iron for Hot Air Balloon
- Raider Airship and Merchant Airship now require basic components
- Wheelchairs can now be made with woody materials and medieval components
- Fruit juice and gin mush can now be made with Mulberries
- VCE cooking recipes added to the Rustic Cooking Table, baking recipes to the Stone Oven, and grilling recipes to the MO Grill
- Changed VCE's wheat, sugarcane, and allspice to mirror MO's production chain
- Replaced some raw plant drops with MO equivalent
- Salt ores now drop VCE salt
- Mineshaft salt recipe now drops VCE Salt
- You can now make huge bulks of simple bakes (x80) and fine bakes (x40) with the large oven
Vanilla Cooking Expanded - Stews:
- VCE Stewpot texture changed to MO's stewpot
Vanilla Cooking Expanded - Sushi:
- Changed the soy sauce fermeter's texture to reflect a medieval playthrough
Vanilla Factions Expanded - Medieval:
- Meat smoker no longer hidden
- Certains plants now drop MO equivalent of vegetables
Vanilla Plants Expanded - More Plants:
- Certains plants now drop MO equivalent of vegetables
- Chemfuel can be made with canola flowers (20% efficiency) at the presser
