With this mod you can build structures that store common goods that I usually have a surplus of. They take up 2x2 space and store the same amount of items that you could stack in those spaces. Items in these structures are protected from aging and the outdoors. That frees up your freezer and you can keep a pile of potatos in your fallout shelters that your colonists won't pull from until you deconstruct it.
