Construct a steel cage to keep chemfuel in. If the cage is exposed to fire its chemfuel will tumble out onto the ground. After that an inferno that can easily reach over 4,000 degrees will usually occur. Toasty! It's an area denial and storage solution*. The latest update turned it from1x2 to 1x1, so you can stuff a lil chemfuel anywhere your heart desires.
One might ask: Why do this when I can just leave chemfuel on the floor? You certainly can, if you think it's ok to eat without a table.
