[*] After subscribing to this mod and its prerequisites, launch the game, go to Mods in the main menu, find this mod, and enable it.Recommended load order:Place this mod after core mods and before other functional mods (load frameworks first, then this mod, then vehicles, weapons, maps, Chinese language fixes, etc.) to avoid UI glitches or music playback issues.
[*] On first launch, default UI settings are automatically applied. No restart or manual setup needed — enjoy the new look immediately!For custom settings:
🌕Two main menu wallpaper styles available:
[*] Static random background;
[*] Slideshow (cycling images)
Use the new “LJ” button in the bottom-left corner of the main menu to toggle slideshow mode and set intervals from 3 to 30 seconds.
Click any button in the LJ menu to save your preferences — changes apply instantly. To revert to the default menu, simply disable this mod and its prerequisites.
📻 BGM plays automatically on game launch and shuffles. Due to TIS engine limitations, a visual music player isn’t possible currently.
You can skip tracks using the MMF mod’s encoded function (press the Mods button → Accept/Cancel). A full song list is included as a txt file in the mod’s sound folder. You may also replace tracks with your own .wav / .ogg files using the same filenames — the mod will detect them after restart.
🌟Multiplayer Compatibility
[*] Fully compatible with both Single player and Multiplayer. MP server does NOT need this mod enabled. Only client side requires it, and local settings only affect your own game (Main Menu only, before loading a game).
✅Supported Game Versions
[*] Currently supports: B42.10 – B42.17+
[*] Update Notes:I will update and test this mod asap for any future game versions to maintain compatibility.(Honestly, I doubt TIS will ignore piles of in-game bugs just to rewrite the main menu UI lmao).
Updates are delivered automatically via Steam. If you experience issues after an update, try unsubscribing and re-subscribing, or delete your local config file before restarting.
Q&A
[*] UI not changing / displaying incorrectly after installation?
- Make sure the mod is enabled and loaded in the correct order (prerequisites first, this mod in the middle or near the end).
- Confirm your game version matches the supported build.
- Disable conflicting mods (especially other menu/UI overhauls).
- Clear game cache, restart, and re-enable mods.
[*] Does this mod affect performance or cause crashes?
This mod uses lightweight code and only modifies UI visuals and logic - no core game mechanics are altered. It may occupy a few RAM and VRAM (Only when you are in the Mainmenu).
[*] Is it compatible with other mods (weapons, maps, skills, etc.)?
This mod works with 98%+ of popular Workshop mods. If you find a possible conflict, leave a comment and I’ll look into it.
[*] How to revert to the original main menu?
Simply disable this mod and its prerequisites in the mod list - No restarting game required. To uninstall completely, unsubscribe on Steam and delete any remaining local files.
[*] Future update?
As you can see, this mod is labeled Vol.1 - more content is already planned! Stay tuned.
