Hi! This is my very first mod.
I’m Yumi , a proud meat lover ,and I always felt like the game was seriously lacking when it came to animal drops. You’d go through all the effort of hunting or raising animals, and the amount of meat you got just didn’t feel right.
So I decided to fix it.
What started as a simple idea turned into me spending about a month learning, testing, breaking things, fixing them again, and finally putting this mod together.
This mod was inspired by Vanilla Foods Expansion, specifically how pigs drop different kinds of meat. I thought that idea was really cool, and it made me want to try something similar, but on a much more extreme and rewarding level.
So I made my own version.
This is my first mod, so please go easy on me. I’m still learning, but I put a lot of time and effort into this.
[b]What This Mod Does[/b]
This mod reworks and expands animal butchering drops to make hunting feel more rewarding and immersive.
Instead of getting small, limited amounts of meat, animals now provide larger and more satisfying yields, along with additional food items depending on the animal.

[*] All meats now function as proper cooking ingredients
[*] Meat can be used in Soup, Stew, Chili, and Curry
[*] Removed poison from all raw meats to prevent cooked meals from becoming permanently poisonous
[*] Raw meat is still dangerous uncooked, maintaining realism and risk
[*] Cooking removes negative effects and provides full benefits
[*] Added lard (Base.Lard) drops to animals during butchering

Lard is fully integrated into the butchering system and scales based on animal size for balance and realism.

It is highly encouraged to download Vanilla Foods Expansion alongside this mod for the best possible experience. They already did an amazing job expanding food variety, and instead of recreating all of that work, I chose to build on top of it.

This was a huge learning experience for me, and I’m really proud of how it turned out.
