MCT Tanksy Tankard | Micro Coastal Tanker

MCT Tanksy Tankard is a compact micro coastal tanker originally intended for refueling and reselling diesel in my own classic career save. This tiny tanker boasts a 10,500 liter cargo capacity, with an additional 3200 liter fuel tank for long range use, running a pump-charged 1x1 modular engine at 12 RPS with two forward gears and reverse, and easy WASD throttle and steering controls from my usual UMBEC boat drivetrain controller. The cargo tank includes standard hose connections with their own onboard pumps for refueling other vessels at sea, with the added option of a winch-and-buoy hose line reaching up to 190 meters, for reaching fuel gantries such as that at Sawyer's Holt Town. Controls are labelled and easy to access plainly on the main deck of the ship. GPS display on board is AVUMP's Multimap system, which is great for navigating Sawyer's rivers at night and in low visibility. MCT Tanksy Tankard also includes the basic provisions you'd expect for a career vessel, such as repair torches, fire extinguishers, defibrilators, first aid, flashlight, binoculars, oxygen mask, etc. Microcontrollers are accessible in the bow with a hatch that locks to avoid accidental opening in rough weather, as the ship currently does not possess any bilge pumps, and the ship does have a low freeboard when fully loaded. Top speed is currently about 22 knots or so, though the RPS could be raised for slightly higher speed at the expense of higher fuel consumption and higher engine temperatures. It's slow but steady vessel. If you're looking for a basic tiny tanker for your career, see if MCT Tanksy Tankard works for you!
