Adds a set of industrial-themed vacsuits for combat. A sort of intermediary between a basic vacsuit and powerarmor.
Now compatible with both vanilla and CE. Tell me if the vanilla-version is over/under-tuned.
This is my first published rimworld mod, and my first mod where I've done extensive texture edits, so bear with me, but provide any constructive criticism you want.
I plan on expanding this by adding more vacuum armors, and maybe some space-themed factions.
For the vacsuits, I used Crimson's [2x] Odyssey Upscaled as the base because they were in a good looking resolution and the basic odyssey ones look too crunchy resolution-wise. I recognize that upscaling the models likely required a lot of work, and if Crimson is upset with me using those vacsuit textures as a base and wants me to take this mod down, I understand.
CE Stats of new armor:
Vac-Plate: -1.4 movement penalty (base vacsuit has -1.2)
+20 Bulk Carry Capacity (Might nerf this to 10-15, we'll see)
32% Vacuum resistance (same as vacsuit)
10mm sharp rha, 14mm blunt rha
Cost: 3 Components
100 Steel (Base suit is 90)
35 Plasteel (Base suit is 20)
Vac-Helm: -100% smoke sensitivity (same as vacsuit w/combat extended)
69% Vacuum resistance (same as vacsuit)
80% toxic environment resistance (same as vacsuit)
7mm sharp rha. 10mm blunt rha
Cost: 2 Components
35 Steel (Base suit is 40)
10 Plasteel (Base suit does not use plasteel)
