Short Admiralty Type 184 (White)
Another release! This time, I've got two variants of the glorious Short Type 184 torpedo-bearing seaplane.
You can find the other variant here:

This plane was originally requested by oMoxxie as part of a build exchange. Thank you for inspiring this project!
Check out the other half of the exchange here:

I had originally built this plane in September 2025, but I've had a few long-standing issues regarding flight performance- these have now (hopefully) been mitigated.
Thanks for reading, and please enjoy the glorious Short 184!
Brief History
In 1914, the British Admiralty started looking for designers to build an aircraft capable of carrying and launching a torpedo. Along with Sopwith, and J. Samuel White, the Short Brothers were selected for the task, and got the order for two prototypes after Horace Short's strong assurance that he would build an airplane to satisfy the requirements.
With a three-bay biplane wing design spanning 63.5ft (19.36m), and a top speed of a blistering 75 mph (65 kn), the Short Type 184 was not an elegant aircraft. Its climb to altitude was slow at best, and it lacked the useful load to carry both a torpedo and a second crew member.
The 184 saw service from 1915 all the way up to 1933, serving with eight nations, seeing use as a reconnaissance, training, and anti-submarine patrol aircraft. After WWI, it even saw use as a passenger transport. The Short Brothers built 936 Type 184s, and it holds multiple historical achievements, such as being the first operational torpedo bomber, the first aircraft to spot an enemy fleet, and being the only British aircraft to take part in the Battle of Jutland.
Flying
To start the aircraft, turn on the MASTER ELECTRICITY breaker, turn on the MAGNETOS switch, and hold the STARTER. To take off, make sure you've got adequate room in front of you, and throttle up to take off!
This is quite a docile airplane, you won't have to be super aggressive on the controls.
The torpedo is dropped using the trigger on the seat, but only after you arm it using the switch on the panel. The aircraft will perform a little better with the reduced weight.
Other Features and Quick Notes
Low physics will cause the plane to "jump" in the water. I may put out a fix for this.
This aircraft has an egregiously large wingspan; fortunately, you can fold the wings for storage! There is a key on the left wing that will fold them back against the fuselage.
Do not use the water brake at high speeds as it can flip the aircraft.
The rear gun has a fire limiter that will not let the user shoot the vertical stabilizer. It will not always work, but it's better than nothing.
Please do not reupload.
