Judah was laid down not longer after her sister Jericho. She was originally intended to be a carbon copy of her sister, but during the early stages of construction, it was decided to change her stern's layout to offer a more open-air experience to her third class passengers, which resulted in her being more popular. Judah had a rather eventful career, though not to the point of ever foundering. Judah had been caught up in numerous collisions and groundings. Eventually, Judah had been laid up and had been planned to be quietly scrapped, but not before being converted into a troopship to serve in war. The war ended up saving her and after she served her country, she had been sold and converted into a floating hotel, a much happier fate when compared to her sister.
