📦 Merit System - Economy & Missions
The apocalypse just got a new market.
Surviving in Knox Country doesn't have to be just about scavenging. The Merit System introduces a fully functional and immersive economy system, allowing you to trade your valuable items for vital supplies through a mysterious Merchant.
⚠️ ATTENTION: This mod was designed and tested for SINGLEPLAYER ONLY. There is currently no support for Multiplayer (Servers/Co-op).
🌟 Key Features
- Dynamic Trading: A daily shop that resets at midnight, offering weapons, tools, food, medicine, and ammo with varying prices.
- Sell Your Loot: Found jewelry, gold, silver bars, or rare artwork? Sell them all for Merits (the mod's new trading currency).
- Daily Missions: Complete procedurally generated missions to earn large Merit rewards. Objectives range from killing zombies and gathering basic supplies to Specialized Services, which will test your crafting, hunting, cooking, and fishing skills!
- Mission HUD: Track your progress in real-time with an on-screen mini-HUD that is completely discreet, draggable, and minimizable.
- Radio Immersion: The Merchant doesn't just appear out of nowhere with a magical click. You must find a two-way communication radio, ensure it has power, and transmit a call so the Merchant can arrive at a safe area near you.
📻 How It Works
- Find a Two-Way Radio.
- Turn the device on and make sure it has power/battery.
- Stand close to the radio, right-click it, and select "Call Merchant via Radio".
- After a continuous 10-second transmission, the Merchant will arrive at the location.
- Interact with him to access the Buy, Sell, and Missions tabs. When you're done negotiating, simply dismiss him so he can leave!
🌐 Supported Languages
The mod features native and full support for English (EN) and Brazilian Portuguese (PT-BR). Additionally, the dynamic market items automatically adapt to your game's language!
