I made this because despite being powered by an infinite generator, my DL96 doesn’t actually have great range because of its low water capacity, so the auxiliary tender was a solution to that, it also has bogies with an electrical connection to get a little bit extra power into the system.
In terms of using it, simply connect the hose & cable between the locomotive’s tender & the auxiliary tender, & switch on the pump & power switches found next to the handbrake, after that it will handle everything automatically.
