While you can deploy all 4 types simultaneously, the following restrictions apply: [list] [*] [b]One per Group[/b]: A single mechanoid group can only have one Commander. [*] [b]Unique per Map[/b]: Each Core type is unique. You cannot deploy duplicates of the same Commander Core type, even in different groups. [/list] This system provides unique stat boosts to the Leader and grants a special buff (Hediff) to squad members every 12 in-game hours (30,000 ticks). For instance, increasing shooting accuracy does not degrade other shooting-related stats. Instead, all penalties are strictly applied to capabilities [b]unrelated[/b] to the installed part's specialization. Installing shooting parts might reduce melee stats, while work-focused parts might lower combat performance. Therefore, specialized vanilla mechanoids effectively suffer no penalties. However, hybrid mechs (like Tunnelers) or multi-purpose modded mechs may face trade-offs as they rely on multiple stat categories. [hr] FAQ & Misc Info [b]1. CE?[/b] Please refer to the separate post section below. [b]2. Is it compatible with other mechanoid upgrade mods?[/b] Yes. DMS?[/b] Yes, it is compatible. I have confirmed compatibility with mechanoids from [b]Dead Man's Switch (DMS)[/b], [b]Milira[/b], and [b]Miho[/b] race mods (these are the only modded mechs I have personally tested). It should work with other modded mechanoids as well. If you encounter any specific race or mechanoid that does not work, please let me know. I will fix it. CE Compatibility (December 12, 2025) I have implemented a simple compatibility patch for CE (Combat Extended). However, I have no knowledge whatsoever about CE (Does using CE significantly increase range? I'm not sure) and have never used it, so I cannot tell whether any specific value is intended, an error, or incorrectly applied. (The issue of weapons always firing full-auto, which I received feedback on, has been resolved.) Additionally, there are options that become meaningless when using CE. In particular, the option to increase the number of shots fired is ignored due to CE's unique firing system. Also, the range increase option can interact with CE's inherently long range to create an almost infinite range. Overall, CE is a very difficult and unknown mod to me. Please report any errors.
