History:
Calypso was a greater improvement to her older sister Cyprus. With a raised forcastle, different bridge design, and tiled flooring, Calypso was more luxorious, comfortable, and sleek looking. She quickly became the preferred twin, with her sister Cyprus living in her shadow. She became the sole survivor of her class after Cyprus had been deemed a total loss from grounding on rocks. She served as a hospital ship during the war, and afterward served as a liner for a few more years before being retired and broken up.
