Air Racing Kit (Timer and Pylons)
This is an air racing time trial minigame. The vehicle includes:
- The pylon, which serves as the checkpoints for the time trial
- A small pink subgrid near the base of the pylon with an antenna
To set up a race, first pick an aircraft you'd like to use, and paste the pink subgrid onto it. It has a video output for a helmet display that gives you information for the race.
Then, set up the pylons in whatever positions you'd like. On the base of each, near the antenna, is a keypad where you can input the order in which each pylon comes. 0 for the starting line, 1, 2, and so on for the checkpoints, and for the last pylon, press the little button near the keypad to mark it as the finish line. Make sure you also give the last pylon a number!
Once set up, get in your plane, take off, toggle on race mode, and fly the course! You have to get within 40m of the pylons, and at an altitude 10m over the tip or lower, for them to register as completed.
