The Bell 212 is a two engine version of the UH-1 Huey helicopter. This helicopter has been outfitted with SAR and FIRE FIGHTING capabilities.
Start Up:
1. Turn ON MAIN BAT
-Flip switch on center of cockpit roof.
2. Turn ON Fuel Valve 1 and Fuel Valve 2
-Flip switches on center of cockpit roof Behind BATs.
3. Turn on ENG 1 and ENG 2 MAIN.
-Flip switches on center of cockpit roof Behind Fuel.
4. Throttle up both Engines
-Arow buttons above Co-Pilot
5. Activate Hydraulics A and B
-Flip Switches behind Throttle.
-Must be activated to control rotors
6. Turn on Gens 1 and 2
-Flip switches above Pilot seat
7. Turn on Rotor Clutch
-Flip switches above pilot seat in front of gens
8. Turn on Heavy lift
-Flip switches on center pilon
-Makes Heli faster, able to lift more, and yaw torch less impactful.
Hoist Control:
Control is remote with remote control above the center seat in the back
To LOWER; Press 1
To RASE; Press 2
Refueling and Recharging while on the ground:
Hatch access:
-Flip switch on the right side of tail.
Refueling:
1. Connect hose to hose port in the access hatch
2. Connect hose to fuel source
3. Turn on pump in Heli (and Fuel source if applicable)
Recharging:
1. Connect Electric rope to Electric on Heli
2. Connect Electric rope to Electric Source
