HISTORICAL DESCRIPTION:
In the year of 1936, the Patlandian Airforce Supreme Command & the Fuhrer requested immediate plans for a new Strike Aircraft. Dornier-Flugzeugwerke and the Fuchs Heavy-Industries came up with the Do-216 design in late-year 1937, a twin engine heavy aircraft with a 3.7cm main autocannon. The plan was approved quickly by the OKL, thus starting production in early-1938.
