The UH-1 SAR "Huey"
A very nimble and versatile search and rescue / utility helicopter with a rich history. It has proven itself time and time again with all kinds of variations. This SAR edition is very similair to it's combat cousin, apart from the fact that it carries no guns and is, instead, equipped with a lot of healthcare equipment and two harnesses to carry one medical professional and one wounded hero. Although it won't break any speed records, and can't hold more than four additional passengers, it's nimble and small nature makes it ideal to extract wounded people from any hard to reach spot.

User Manual
Startup procedure
1. Enter the helicopter in the flight commander seat. (Co-Pilot seat works aswell)
2. Switch the power and avionics on. (center console)
3. Switch on the backlights. (optional)
4. Engage the gyro. (It is highly recommended to leave it on, unless you're planning on doing loops or other stunts)
5. Mute the alarms.
6. Turn on the engine systems.
7. Press and hold "Start engine" till both lights turn solid green.
8. Wait for the "Low engine RPM" light to go off.
9. Take-off!
10. Turn the alarms back on.
Cruise flight
-You can turn on cruise control to keep flying in the same direction.
The heli is faster if you turn on altitude hold / CC, so I recommend you turn either on for longer flights.
-You can adjust the altitude you want to hold mid flight by entering a number in the designated keypad, but make sure to return it to zero when you want to hold your current altitude again!
Harness and Medvac operations
-To use the harness, make sure to open the sliding door and enter the harness. You can then press 3 to sling yourself out and use the other buttons to raise / lower / sling yourself or the other in or out.
-If you use the harness, it's very important to turn on the position hold, otherwise the heli might drift away. The position hold might not work immediately, because the heli is being blown away, in that case wait a bit for it to return to the original spot.
Things to note
Disclaimer: This vehicle was made mostly with ease of use and versatility in mind, therefore I opted *not* to make the interior a copy of it's IRL counterpart. Its exterior is mostly accurate (and to scale), but making accurate instrument pannels and stuff would take way too much time and would make it a lot more difficult to operate properly, possibly impeding it's usability in career.
If you want to use (anything of) this vehicle in a video or a workshop upload, that is completely fine! Please do put the link in the description though, that'd be much appreciated. (Don't straight up upload this vehicle though).
I did NOT make the statcard myself, I used this website: https://stormlabs.site/tools/stats and this website https://imagecompressor.com/ to generate and compress. Highly recommended to try it out yourself, it's easy to use and gives a nice result!
If you have any recommendations for changes or upgrades, let me know!
Above all of everything I said, have fun with it! It's designed to be used and to have fun with.
(Temporary) To Alistair and the Mods:
First of all, thank you for taking the time to review my creation and making these challenges possible.
I wanted to add that if you spawn in and the harness gets caught in between the doors, you can simply open and close them again (flight commander seat has hotkeys for that) and it'll be okay!.
(Also, this is my first ever finished flying creation! Please be kind 🙏)
