NELMW pacific locomotive

Hello, welcome back! I have something new, an its not exactly the normal thing. I have come back with a revamped NELMW standard collection, and these are some of the best models i have made, and I'm exited to show them to you all. Shale we get into to it now? I think so. First things first, for the people who don't know what the NELMW standards are, they are a collection of standardized Steam locomotives (and tenders) similar to how the USRA. The NELMW, or New England, Locomotive, Works, are canonically based in new England, most likely around the Rhode Island area. The whole point was for them to be easily modifiable for newer Stormworkers that wanted they're own custom engines, without having to do all the work. Now, with this new line up, all the locomotive have been HEAVILY updated, and new tenders have been added, instead to the original one or two versions put behind every engine. the engines and tenders, though having much more detail, are just as easy to mod as the original, but this time, people might actually want to use them. The tenders and engines are being posted separately so they can be mixed and matched, and there will also be oil fired versions of some engines to go with oil specific tenders. There will be a more indepth look on the tenders and oil fired equipment on they're own separate posts. In total, there is just about 10 different locomotives, and about 13 different tenders in total. The locomotives are split between switchers, passenger engines, freight engines, and the mallets. this 4-6-2 pacific is part of the passenger set. More will be said about each of the other engines in tenders in they're own posts, but lets get into the pacific! For the pacific, all that's really left, is honestly just the boiler, cylinders, and maybe part of the frame. The front pilot was redesigned, the pilot wheels are no longer part of the main frame and can move, and the rear truck i think was pulled off my Lionel 2025. The cab is original, just new roof and slightly re built, but the fire box is also brand new. the engine is much more detailed, and it now has a more intricate running board. as for the features, it had auto decouple for the front coupler, a reversing unit, working light, and working marker lights which glow green, (as seen in one of the pictures), along with a decoupler from the tender. the locomotive itself does not have any real basis, or even inspiration of any real engine, and is more of just a , "i looked at 25 different locomotives and made something" but the final light arrangement did take some inspiration from Reading Blue Mountain & Northern 425. I think that is about it for the pacific, and I will see you guys for the next NELMW piece! (update): The oil fired line up has been canceled.
