90mm All-Terrain Weapon System
The 90mm All-Terrain Weapon System is a complete redesign of the previous All-Terrain Gunned Vehicle. This new vehicle utilizes the same chassis design as the previous generation but is composed of significant redesigns and improvements to all aspects of the vehicle. The largest improvement is the implementation of an significantly more efficient 8 cylinder engine compared to the previous 20 cylinder, paired with the latest CVT to provide even greater accelerations at all speeds without the requirement to change gears. This system allows the engine to run at max efficiency, getting higher as speed increases while also improving acceleration speeds. The smaller engine created enough space to add a second crew member, the Gunner/Navigator. This crew member has easy access to loading the main cannon while also allowing the driver to focus on driving the vehicle. The gun sight has also been improved, combining the map and sight into one viewport while also consisting of heavily improved gun sights. The cannon is also stowed during transport by a hard point, allowing the turret pivot to not drain power to maintain its position. The driver interface is also significantly simpler, partially due to the absence of turret controls but also a new, heavily optimized driving interface. The smaller interface has allowed for a significantly larger windshield, greatly increasing visibility and tactical awareness. A few other improvements include a larger cannon and 40 more rounds stowed (160 total). Ultimately, this vehicle is a significant improvement over the previous generation and will serve you well on the battle field.
