Automatons: Simple Mechs

Are you tired of your Roomba pooping toxic waste? Do you hate needing a neural implant to tell it when to tidy up? Are you tired of needing to "gestate" a Roomba before you can put it to work? Yeah, this all [i]does[/i] sound exceptionally weird! This mod adds simple mech drones that do dumb labour without any of the hassle of Biotech's toxic-waste-producing, pawn-with-mechlink-requiring mechs. Inspired by - and meant as a temporary replacement for - robots from VFE Mechanoids. [b]Please note:[/b] I built this mod entirely for my own enjoyment, and because I was impatient waiting for VFE Mechanoids to be updated to 1.6. This mod is in [u]no[/u] way balanced and not intended for serious, hardcore, challenging gameplay. Have fun with it, but don't take it too seriously. (I will likely abandon this mod once Vanilla Expanded replaces VFE Mechanoids, unless its new robots are equally baffling or have their own clumsily-implemented and totally arbitrary set of drawbacks to ensure gameplay balance.) [hr] How to Use Complete the research project "Basic Automatons" to unlock buildable stations for cleaning and hauling drones, which will magically appear once the station is built. (If either the drone or station is destroyed, its counterpart will be as well.) Additional research projects unlock upgrades and more advanced drones capable of more complex jobs. No mechanitor required! [hr] What's included? [b]Hauling Drones[/b] You know those Amazon warehouse robots that shuffle stuff around? Yeah, these are those. They start off slower and with less carrying capacity, but can be upgraded via a research project to function almost as well as a normal pawn. [b]Cleaning Drones[/b] You know your Roomba? Yeah, it's that. It's a Roomba. It's an automated drone that buzzes around your colony cleaning up dirt, trash, vomit, blood, etc. [b]Agribot[/b] A buildable drone that will do planting, cutting, and harvesting jobs in your colony. Farmers Agribots feed cities! [b]Mining Drone[/b] Drones with a big ol' drill attached on the front that will do assigned mining jobs around your colony.
