History:
Athens was built as a cross between a liner and a freighter. She was not the most luxurious vessel to travel aboard, but she made up for that in her speed. Athens met an untimely end when she was transporting gunpowder, which had mysteriously exploded late at night, ripping her hull open and resulting in the power going out. Luckily, S.S. Calypso was nearby and rescued the survivors. Athens slowly slipped beneath the waves after battling sinking all night.
