Starting up the engines
1. Turn on the Electric Breaker, always keep on.
2. Turn on Monitors.
3. Bring throttle to 75.00.
4. Turn on the wheel brake to keep stationary.
5. Click “PID”, then “Gyro.”
6. Click “Fuel V” (Valve).
7. Turn on “J Comp” (Jet Compressors) and leave it on until the thrust kicks in. When the thrust initiates, keep it off thereafter because it drains the battery.
8. After that, feel free to fly! There are indicator lights on the top panel to inform you what is active and what isn’t. Keep in mind, it’s recommended to keep the throttle at 75.00 always, only bring it to 80.00 when you need a little boost to refuel mid-air.
Miscellaneous Flight Details
Economic throttle : 70.00 - 75.00
Fuel Range (Plane Mode) : 70-75 Kilometers
How to use Zizo's Radar : On the top left click the button "R", it will enable the radar's rotation. On the bottom right, you will see a "+" and a "-". Those two will increase or decrease the range. Mind you it can go from 250 meters to 8 KM. On the bottom left, I haven't a clue what that button does, so it doesn't really matter if you click it cause I haven't seen it change anything but either way. I encourage you to check out Zizo's Radar on you're own, it's an exceptional radar and it practically catches any vehicle on the map.
Extra information
A little fun fact: I meant to post this VTOL a long time ago, but I totally forgot, so I decided to do it now that I have some time. The Magpie is a very capable VTOL all around. One of my proudest aircraft creations ever. She’s been fitted to assist the Coast Guard and Stormworks Military with two variants: the MPV-1A (Multipurpose VTOL) and MPV-1B. The A variant prioritizes seating capacity (14 in total, including pilots), while the B variant prioritizes proper SAR operation equipment or, for the Military, proper Touch-and-Go missions, and transportation (8-10 in total, including pilots).
However, I don’t believe I fully grasped the entire potential of either the A or B variants, respectively. I believe there’s more that can be implemented and achieved with them both, but I personally don’t have the time to expand upon that potential. Therefore, I am granting privilege to those who would like to custom-fit this great aircraft to other capabilities. All I ask is that before you do so, you request permission and cite credit to me since I did put a lot of time into these aircraft.
I’m sure, since it has been a little bit since I’ve worked on the aircraft, it has some outdated things. So bear with it on those technicalities. Regardless, she’s a great flyer, and I hope you all enjoy it!
(FYI) Once the fuel tank reaches 4,500 to 4,000 liters, the engines start slowing down in speed, not rapidly but gradually.
