This is the mod that salvaged Diva's original creation, [url=https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2013376629&searchtext=machine+gun+nest]https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2013376629&searchtext=machine+gun+nest[/url] to make it functional at 1.6 version of the game. -Fixed MG Emplacement Inherits original mods' GPMG. Cost only steel to build. Requires Blowback Operation Research. - Fixed HMG Emplacement Inherits original mod's HMG. Cost additional steel and 5 machine parts. Requires Gas Operation Research. Both Guns have 120 ammunition, and require a steel to maintain. Firepower of the machine guns is intended to be reasonably strong for players using any mods that adds Barbed Wires, especially Barbs and Moats mod, and avoid building 'enclosed kill-box'. Players are advised to use additional mod that reworks vanilla industrial weapons to match the WWII theme, if there are any..... :( BEWARE: - Since it relies on vanilla turret's mechanism, it technically 'can' rotate 'backward', potentially shooting operating pawn. - If you force-attack 'backward', gun (technically a turret) will immediately shoot backward as soon as pawn mans it, making it impossible to rotate the barrel forward again, making the entire gun useless. This can't be fixed without using third party framework. - Unfortunately, it can't be built on sandbags anymore. You can place it behind sandbags for cover however. - MG placement itself provides 55% cover to operating pawn. - This is only a make-shift salvage of the original mod, and may have some unexpected outcomes. - NO. This is not CE compatible, as you do not even need this thing in CE.
