Expand your caravan entertainment options with Caravan Recreation! Take in the sights, read books, pull out those chess tables and help your pawns fulfill their recreational needs while traveling.
❌In vanilla, pawns gain +10% recreation per day, but only when stopped and only social and solitary. Boring!
✅Pawns gain social and solitary sightseeing recreation while traveling in caravan
✅When stopped, pawns use packed joy items for entertainment: books, chess tables, billiards, harps... anything unpowered.
✅Pawns can use joy foods (chocolate, insect jelly) and drugs as well, if your policies allow it, while traveling and below a configurable threshold. Off by default, turn it on in the config menu.
☑ With Vehicle Expanded Framework, passengers in vehicles can read books while traveling as well.
✅All this without setting up a camp: it happens automatically while resting or traveling, as appropriate.
No more will your pawns suffer from the ennui of existence while perfectly good books, poker tables and horseshoe pins sit in their saddlebags. No more having to stop, set up camp, pull everything out and hope they fulfill their needs before packing it all away again. Just pack what they need and they'll take care of the rest.
