Take control of how your caravans handle the final stretch of their journey. Make them push on through the night, or pause and prepare to arrive ready.
A consistent problem I had with caravans was that they would arrive at an outpost exhausted, bored and hungry, so I created this mod to give myself the option of having them arrive ready to go. Smart Caravan Timing has two modes beyond vanilla's normal caravan handling:
[b]Push On[/b]: if within (configurable) hours of the destination, the caravan will not stop to rest.
[b]Arrive Ready[/b]: stop close to the destination and make sure all pawns are ready: fed, rested and entertained. They will also wait for daylight.
These options are toggleable and configurable: adjust which needs they fulfill, turn on or off waiting for daylight, or set thresholds so you're not waiting for every last pawn to be ready.
[b]Altered Schedules[/b]: New config options to change the resting schedule for caravans, or give the option to use an altered schedule. Also gives the option to continue without resting.
Caravans will only handle recreation need with my [u]Caravan Recreation mod[/u], as otherwise vanilla recreation is too slow.

My thanks to Almost There! which inspired the better handling of caravan timing. But I wanted the reverse as well: pawns arriving in a good mood at an enemy camp.
