Werewargs Mod

Powerful beasts to conquer the Rim... Or die by them. The classic 1.2 Werewargs mod, rescued from oblivion, made standalone and updated for Rimworld 1.6. This mod adds a species of genetically modified and greatly improved wargs that walk on two legs. Be careful, though. You can tame them, ride them, but you don't want them in the hands of your enemies, or hungry for your colonists flesh. History This mod was published by Treeb way back in 1.2 as an extension of an existing mod. To prevent issues I asked for permission to make the Werewargs their own mod, but I never got a reply. So, I played in 1.3, 1.4 and 1.5 with my modified mod. Now, in 1.6, after years of not getting an answer, I decided to share Treeb's work with my modifications. If, at any point, Treeb decides to claim ownership, I'll remove it from the Steam Workshop. But for now, enjoy this amazing species, so fit for survival in the Rimworld. Compatibility I used the Werewargs mod all the way through 1.5 without noticeable issues. But I no longer play on 1.5 and I adjusted some values to remove warnings during load, so... It may work(?) Just test it, and if you think it works for you and want to remove the version warning, add 1.5 to the list of supported versions, or let me know and I'll add it directly to the mod. It should be compatible with most if not all animal mods. GiddyUp: The size of the werewargs makes your colonists seem quite tall, so bear that in mind when trying to select them. Credits - Treeb: All base graphics and definitions. - BugWolf: a distinctive bow for female werewargs and applied some dimorphism to the males' fur. Cleaned up the original mod and made it standalone. Also modified some values and updated the supported version to 1.6.
