Rebalances vanilla psycasting.
Berserk/Berserk Pulse: now has a success chance based on the target's mental break threshold, the caster's mental break threshold, and the target's mood. On failure, applies a stacking hediff that increases the target's mental break threshold by 10%, making the next casts more likely to succeed.
Berserk is a very consistent way to instantly kill the biggest threat in a raid. Making it RNG-based helps with that. Because different raiders will have different mood levels and and mental break thresholds, some will be fairly easy to affect.
A psycaster with the iron-willed trait will consistently affect targets.
Always works on animals.
The chance to affect mechs and entities is inversely proportional to their combat power.
Invisibility: wears off on attack or psycast use. This turns Invisibility into a repositioning tool, instead of a way to solo raids. The effect wears off as the pawn performs its attack, so you can also use it to get off a weapon or ability with a long aiming time.
Aiming Delay Factor no longer affects psycasts. A trigger-happy psycaster now gets no benefit from the trait.
Persona Weapons can no longer be kill-focused. That trait is disgustingly overpowered, and it makes an awful persona knife with it arguably better than a legendary persona monosword without.
Not compatible with Vanilla Psycasts Expanded.
If you want only some of the changes, make a local copy of the mod and delete one of the three patch files. The Aiming Delay Factor change is part of the DLL and you cannot delete it in that way.
