Thousands of years ago on Earth, the explosion of Bayterek (the Tree of Life) reactor engulfed vast regions into the Shrouded Zone. For survival and escape, a former NATO special forces unit formed the "Shrouded Zone Special Operations Brigade." After a century of exploration and struggle, their records ultimately vanished deep within the Shrouded Zone, with no one knowing whether their endeavor succeeded or failed. Yet, a millennium later today, similar identification signals faintly echo once more in the depths of space, whispering tales of all that they were.
