This mod adds 50+ new drinks to the game (this is only Phase One of the project). Each drink comes with its own unique effect—some introduce special mechanics, or may be extremely powerful.

About This Mod
First of all, I don’t want this mod to become part of the “grind.”
So the core of the mod—a bar counter—will literally fall from the sky once you complete the required research (which is very simple!).
I’ve given it very high durability and extremely low wealth value, so it shouldn’t be easily destroyed or stolen.
(That said, if you do lose it, rebuilding one will be quite expensive… let’s just say the Empire might not be too happy about that.)
Most drinks—except for a small number designed specifically to fit the game’s lore—cannot be crafted.
I don’t want this to turn into a production chain.
Instead, drinks are obtained through everyday events:
weather changes, the passing of a day, or notable occurrences—whether joyful or unfortunate.
When these events happen, drinks will automatically “grow” from the bar.
Design Philosophy
I’m not the kind of designer who obsesses over perfect balance or spends endless time tuning numbers.
Everything here serves narrative—or simply my own ideas.
To be honest, I’m terrible at math. I don’t know calculus, and I once scored a glorious 5 out of 100 on an advanced math exam.
(And yes—I actually filled in the entire paper. I didn’t just leave it blank!)
Because of that, the power levels of drinks vary widely.
But every single one is a free gift—you never have to invest resources to obtain them.
Also, all drinks have equal spawn probability.
Yes… it’s a massive RNG pool.
Balance
Is it overpowered?
Probably a little.
Flavor & Immersion
When writing item descriptions, I tried to take advantage of prompt-style flavor text.
If this helps enrich the RimTalk-style experience and makes pawns feel like they’re truly tasting something, I’d be very happy.
That said, I also know not everyone wants to read walls of text—
so I referenced Touhou Mystia’s Izakaya and added tags to each drink.
This way, you can quickly understand their effects at a glance.
Miscellaneous
When compressing textures, I leaned more toward preserving quality.
Because of that, I’ve been a bit worried that the number of textures might affect load times.
So far, it’s been fine on my end.
(The texture folder is currently around 2.5MB.)
Also—since I basically have zero social presence, no community, and no friends who play RimWorld,
everything—from coding to art to testing—was done entirely by myself.
So… bugs are probably inevitable.
If you find any, feel free to leave a comment on the workshop page.
I’ll be very happy to see it—
well, not because there’s a bug, of course…
