The lore:
The BCS (Bay Company Ship) Deadnettle was the oldest actively serving vessel used during the war against the Kingdom of Donkk. The ship followed a centuries old design with its primary advantage being the ability to maneuver in shallow waters independently of winds and currents. In combat the Deadnettle proved to have sufficent capabilities but struggled further from shore. After the war she served as a training ship before being scrapped.
Specifications:
Armament: 4 HAC, 2x BC
A good few muskets
Speed: rather slow
Size: 24m long (29m LOA)
6.25m wide
2.5m Draught
How to:
Sails:
Sails are controlled via up/down and left/right controls from the helm. The ship is made to be used on low physics at 40% wind, or faster at higher physics settings.
Oars:
Oars are powered by the cranks at the centre of the ship. You can steer the ship with the oars and go forwards/backwards with wasd from the helm
Guns:
The guns are controlled via mouse aim from the from the bow. The guns have no horizontal turning capabilities, so you have to turn the whole ship for that. To load the cannons, put shells in the ammo belts of the cannons, and fire from the gunner seat to cycle. Battle cannons work much the same except not quite. I'm sure you'll figure it out
Other stuff
-The ship was built to work in low physics and perform somewhat well in multiplayer, so interior detail is minimal.
-For this same reason, there are no moving ropes and all sails are controlled by pivots, and also why the oars don't actually move
-You'll probably need a custom workbench to spawn it or do it via mission, haven't tested so cant be sure.
