The Claw – Field Equipment & Tri-serum Update
Field Equipment
This update expands The Claw with new field support equipment for serum users.
- Added [b]R Corp Field Case[/b]
- Added [b]W Corp Field Case[/b]
- Field Cases now require [b]3 matching serum vials[/b] to craft
- Field Equipment research now appears under [b]The Claw[/b] research tab
Field Cases are designed to feel like proper support gear rather than generic crafted items. They now fit much more naturally into the serum system and the overall Claw gameplay loop.
Inventory Support
R and W Field Cases can now be handled much more naturally in actual gameplay.
- Pawns can [b]carry Field Cases in inventory[/b]
- Field Cases can be [b]used directly from inventory[/b]
- If not carried, they can still be used from the ground
- Field Cases only become available when enough matching charges are missing, helping prevent waste
This makes Claw operatives feel much more practical during combat and deployment.
W Serum Improvements
W Serum has also been improved with an additional combat benefit after teleporting.
- Added [b]W Phase[/b]
- W Phase grants a short burst of mobility and evasive advantage after warp
This gives W Serum more tactical identity beyond simple repositioning.
Tri-serum Cocktail
The biggest addition in this update is the new [b]Tri-serum Cocktail[/b] ability.
This ability combines the power of [b]R, K, and W[/b] into a single casted assault technique inspired by The Claw.
Tri-serum Cocktail now:
- Consumes [b]1 R[/b], [b]1 K[/b], and [b]1 W[/b] charge
- Uses a [b]cast time[/b] before execution
- Plays [b]sound cues[/b] during activation
- Uses [b]visual effects[/b] during charge and teleport
- Performs [b]chained teleports[/b] across multiple hostile targets
- Can hit up to [b]10 enemies[/b]
- Applies its own [b]cooldown[/b] and momentum effect after use
The goal of this ability was to make the Claw system feel more complete, more aggressive, and much closer to a true high-impact combat tool rather than just a collection of separate serum buttons.
Design Goal
This update focused on improving three things:
- [b]Flow[/b] — better support handling through inventory and field equipment
- [b]Identity[/b] — stronger distinction between R, K, and W roles
- [b]Impact[/b] — a true signature tri-serum ability worthy of The Claw
