[Freely adjust various stat value multipliers for every pawn in the game] === Applicable Units: Animals, Enemies, Colonists, Mechanoids (You can adjust global values for specific unit types!) === === Adjustable Stats: Work Speed, Move Speed, Shooting Accuracy, Melee Hit Chance, Melee & Ranged Damage Multipliers, etc... === === Adjustment Targets: Your individual pawns / All global units of the same type === And of course, the Damage Taken Multiplier is adjustable (it's essentially an indirect way of increasing health — the higher the health multiplier you set in the Mod options, the lower the damage taken. So 200% health means the damage taken multiplier becomes 50%. That shouldn't count as false advertising, right? O_o) I feel this mod can be used to balance your save's "fairness" (difficulty level) — making the game harder or easier, or just buffing a specific colonist or animal. When used properly, it can provide some correction for saves with unbalanced stat environments (probably). [Compatibility Notes]: This mod's "Ranged Damage Multiplier Adjustment" is not fully compatible with Combat Extended / CE (the combat overhaul, not Character Editor!). Sometimes, the damage stats won't change after adjustment. But that's the extent of it — it won't corrupt your save or cause lag. Since the definition of a "Mechanoid" can be a bit ambiguous across mods, I've created 3 detection modes for modifying Mechanoid stats, as follows: ======================================= ├── ○ Strict Mode (Vanilla Mechanoids Only) │ Only detects pawns with IsMechanoid = true. │ Recommended: When using only Vanilla + VFE Mechanoids. │ ├── ○ Extended Mode (Includes Androids) ← Recommended / Default │ Detects all pawns with non-standard flesh types. │ Recommended: If you are using Android Tiers or similar Android mods. │ └── ○ Broadest Mode (All Non-Organic Pawns) Detects all pawns with no flesh. Recommended: If you are using a massive amount of Mech/Robot mods. ======================================= (And don't worry, even if you have a ton of Mech mods and the detection isn't perfect, it won't cause crazy red errors.) ------[Also, please place this mod as low as possible in your load order — just before RocketMan is fine]------ Known Minor Bug: When using ranged weapons from certain mods to shoot mechanoids, there is a low chance the damage modification won't take effect. It doesn't affect much (I didn't test it with CE). Of course, I still recommend using Character Editor to fine-tune weapon stats if you want precise numbers (if you don't mind the hassle). ---WARNING!!! All code for this mod was generated by AI.
