Make combat skills truly matter.
This mod dynamically adjusts a pawn’s combat performance based on Shooting and Melee skill.
Amateurs below the baseline will suffer penalties from inexperience, while skilled fighters and veterans above the baseline gain stronger and more reliable combat performance.
At level 20, each skill also unlocks a unique legendary technique.
Core System
Level 5 is the baseline
Levels 0–4: amateur penalties
Levels 6–20: veteran bonuses
Level 20: unlocks a legendary technique
Shooting Proficiency
Shooting skill affects:
Aiming delay factor
Ranged cooldown factor
Move speed
Accuracy factors at all four ranges
Legendary Technique: Penetrating Shot
If a legendary shooter destroys a non-core body part with direct ranged damage and there is remaining damage left, that excess damage will continue once into the parent body part.
Melee Proficiency
Melee skill affects:
Melee cooldown factor
Melee damage factor
Move speed
Stagger duration factor
Legendary Technique: Chain Kill
After a legendary melee fighter kills a target in melee, their melee cooldown is immediately reset, allowing another attack right away.
