Better Map Gen. Integration

Better Map Gen. Integration adds controls to modify map generation behaviour. Instead of every map spawning clusters of the exact same items, now you can have some variety in your life! I mostly made this mod because I was sick of seeing Medieval Overhaul's battlefield remains pop up on every single map without fail. This mod works out of the box and is intended for use with other mods that allow your faction to progress through tech levels, such as Vanilla Factions Expanded - Tribals. NOTE: The default settings that ship with this mod are identical to vanilla behaviour. Users should customise settings as they see fit. Map Gen. Components The primary functionality of this mod, these let you control the generation logic for individual parts of map generation. The tech level checkboxes control spawning based on either the player faction's tech level OR the tech level of the map owner (i.e. settlement owner). Maps not owned by anyone (e.g. caravan maps) will use the player's tech level. Checking a tech level will guarantee that the generation component will run (with chance set by the Enabled Generation Chance slider), while disabling a tech level will allow you to specify an individual chance. In the example image, Ancient Junk Clusters will always spawn, Strange Iron Formations will never spawn, and Battlefield Remains has a 50% chance of spawning if your faction is Industrial. Immersive Spawns So far, this has only been implemented for the Exostrider Remains added by Biotech. When enabled, the Exostrider won't spawn when you start a new game. Instead, it will crash land as an event at some point in the future, determined by this mod's settings. In the example image, the Exostrider event will not occur until three years after the player has reached the Industrial tech level. The event will then be queued up to occur at a random time in the following 6 years. Disabling this reverts to vanilla spawn on game start behaviour. Object Spawns Object Spawns are added by Vanilla Framework Expanded and run after normal map generation. Does what it says on the lid. Mod Integrations So far, I have only patched Ushanka's Hacking Expansion. The data center from this mod only spawns once on game start. Enabling this patch allows the data center to spawn on any map, with controls to modify behaviour added to the Map Gen. Components tab.
