You can mark a bed "for prisoners", but you can't decide which prisoner sleeps where. If you manage a gene farm, run a prison hospital, or just want your high-value recruit in the nice cell — you've been fighting the system with locked doors, forbidden zones, and manual draft-and-carry workarounds. Other mods attempted to solve this but introduced loops, broken saves, or wardens stuck in infinite escort cycles. It's been this way for 13 years. This mod finally does it right. Assign any prisoner to any prisoner bed — regular or medical — and they stay there. How it works Click a prisoner bed (regular or medical) and use the familiar owner assignment button — the same one you use for colonist beds. The dropdown lists your prisoners instead of colonists. Pick one, done. [list] [*] The assignment sticks. Prisoners don't get shuffled to random beds when they sleep. [*] If the prisoner can't reach the assigned bed, a warden escorts them there. [*] If the prisoner is in the wrong bed (e.g., after gene extraction), a warden relocates them back. [*] If the prisoner is recruited, released, or dies, the assignment is cleaned up automatically. [/list] Medical beds Assign prisoners to specific medical beds in your prison hospital. This is critical for gene farming setups where legless prisoners live permanently in medical beds — you decide who goes where, not the game. The assignment is absolute: after any procedure, the prisoner is returned to their assigned medical bed, not the nearest available one. What about unassigned prisoners? Prisoners without a bed assignment behave exactly like vanilla — the game picks the nearest available bed. This mod only affects prisoners you explicitly assign.
