Division of Labor
Division of Labor is a lightweight XML-only mod designed to declutter your work tab and protect your specialists' time. By splitting broad vanilla categories into specialized roles, you can finally ensure that high-skill pawns stay focused on high-value tasks while lower-skill pawns handle the "grunt work" without wasting potential XP.
Designed for Epochs of the Rim
This mod was created specifically the Epochs of the Rim modpack. Whilst it will work outside of that, I'm only focused on supporting mods in the pack right now.
Key Features:

Nurse: Adds a Nurse column for patient logistics (feeding, visiting, washing and rescuing both for patients and prisoners).

Diplomat Replaces "Warden" with Diplomat, integrating Hospitality guest interactions with prisoner management for a true "all-things-social" role.

Labor: Adds a Labor column for "XP-Trap" jobs like Stonecutting and Smelting and Recycling ensuring your Master Crafters aren't distracted by grunt work.

Cooking Adds Butcher, butchering animals (and others!) is removed from cook so your Chef's don't get distracted with preparing ingredients.

Construct Breaks out Construction and adds Repair and Deconstruct

Smoothing, makes a slight tweak to the job ordering to ensure walls are smoothed before the floor.
Why use this?
In vanilla RimWorld, "Doctoring" and "Crafting" are catch-all categories. This mod allows for a more "Sensible" priority system:

Efficiency: Specialists stay at their stations while laborers handle the prep.

XP Management: Keep "Zero-XP" jobs away from your primary skill-leaders.

UI Clarity: Removes "one-job" modded columns by tucking them into existing, logical work types.
Compatibility & Support:

Epochs of the Rim: Native integration for the modpack's progression logic.

Dubs Bad Hygiene Includes patches to move specialized tasks to the Nurse role.

Simple Improve: Tucks "Improve Quality" directly into the Construction tab.

Recycle This Moved into the general Labor job.

Hospitality Moves Guest tasks to the new Diplomat role.

Therapist Moves the Therapy job to Diplomat role.
Safe to add/remove: As a pure XML mod, this can be added to existing saves.
