ENTROPY PROTOCOL

ENTROPY PROTOCOL (RimWorld 1.6) Entropy Protocol is a bio-horror systems mod for RimWorld 1.6 built around infection, surgery, containment, and controlled instability. This is not a traditional magic mod. Pawns do not simply learn spells. They are exposed to entropy, accumulate instability, unlock anomalous outputs, and can be pushed further through research, implant surgery, and environmental pressure. A biological host can mutate through five escalating stages, develop permanent marks, commit to a branch, and become either a powerful colony asset or a growing internal threat. Synthetic pawns are handled differently: instead of organic mutation, they suffer signal interference, timing loss, control stalls, and collapse events that need grounding rather than biological containment. The current build includes a full progression loop built around risk and control. Colonies deal with anomaly growths, entropy incidents, chaos fragments, controlled infection, stabilizing tools, implant surgery, and map-scale doctrine management. The mod currently adds 11 research projects, 17 implant axioms, 19 active entropy abilities, 3 main vector lines, a late-game hybrid breach path, 3 entropy-aligned xenotypes, colony infrastructure, and English/Russian localization. At the center of the mod is instability. It is both the cost and the engine of the system. Higher instability unlocks stronger states and more dangerous outcomes, but it also increases the risk of surges, collapse, permanent scarring, spread, and wider pressure on the map. Biological carriers progress through five stages: Dormant, Active, Unstable, Critical, and Collapse. As they advance, they become faster, sharper, and more capable, but also harder to keep socially stable and physically safe. Over time, the protocol can commit them toward one of three branches. Virus focuses on contamination, aggression, pain pressure, corpse logic, and infectious combat tools. Anomaly focuses on displacement, phase movement, positional disruption, and unstable spatial effects. Manifest focuses on field control, temporary structures, support functions, and colony-useful resonance architecture. These paths are shaped by abilities, implants, environment, and long-term adaptation effects rather than by a simple class selection menu. The implant system is a major part of the mod’s identity. Axioms are crafted, surgically installed, and limited by slot capacity. They are meant to define a host’s role rather than just stack raw stat bonuses. Current axioms cover infection tools, mobility, battlefield control, resonance support, construction utility, marksmanship support, stabilization, and late-game regulation or hybrid breach options. Entropy Protocol also changes colony management instead of treating infected pawns as pure combat units. Colonists react to critical and collapse carriers, dislike sharing rooms with unstable hosts, synthetic carriers suffer their own signal-noise mood pressure, committed hosts can develop vector exaltation, and protected carriers can feel safer under containment or grounding infrastructure. In practice, this means entropy affects rooms, mood, and social comfort, not just fights. On the colony side, the mod adds infrastructure as well as powers. The Axiom Workbench handles protocol crafting and surgery. The Containment Lattice suppresses organic drift. The Signal Grounder helps stabilize synthetic interference. The Fragment Siphon automates extraction from unstable growths. The Protocol Anchor unlocks a map-wide doctrine layer with Seal, Harvest, and Broadcast profiles, letting the colony choose between safer containment, balanced yield, or higher pressure with stronger returns. The current build also includes map incidents and anomaly spawns such as Entropy Exposure, Entropy Cascade, Protocol Leak, Field Echo, Containment Sweep, Black Cache, and three anomaly growth types: Bloodroot, Phase Knot, and Marrow Bloom. These are not just visual flavor. They directly affect pressure, resources, and the pace at which the protocol enters colony life. In short, Entropy Protocol is aimed at players who want a system mod with escalation, containment problems, surgical progression, and high-risk power. It is less about collecting free buffs and more about deciding how much instability a colony is willing to live with. Requirements RimWorld 1.6 Royalty required Biotech required Recommended for Players who like bio-horror, systemic colony pressure, surgical progression, unstable power systems, and mods where the downside is part of the gameplay. Not recommended for Players who want a clean, fully predictable, low-management power mod with no colony-side consequences. if you want support me: https://boosty.to/strdsts
