════════════════════════════════════════════ GUYVER BIO BOOSTER ARMOR A tribute to Yoshiki Takaya's manga series ════════════════════════════════════════════ Bring the legendary Bio-Booster Armor from Yoshiki Takaya's Guyver manga series to the Rim! Discover mysterious alien Guyver Units. Bond them permanently with your colonists. Transform into five unique variants of bio-boosted armor — at will, indefinitely. ────────────────────────────────────────────── ★ FIVE GUYVER FORMS — DETERMINED BY PERSONALITY Your colonist's form is assigned permanently at the moment of bonding based on who they are: ▸ Guyver IIF — every female colonist. Fastest form alive. Highest speed and dodge in the game. Lighter armour, but good luck hitting her. ▸ Guyver 0 — psychopaths, cannibals, bloodthirsty lunatics, and colonists with ancient/tribal origins. The oldest form. Unmatched raw melee destruction. Eats 2.5× food. Doesn't care. ▸ Guyver III — the calculating ones. Greedy, misanthropic, ascetic. Best tactical form. Enhanced shooting accuracy AND melee. The one Chronos is most afraid of. ▸ Guyver II — your hardworking, dutiful fighters. Brawlers, industrious types, kind souls with strong hands. Heaviest armour. Gets a work speed bonus — the only Guyver that still has a job. ▸ Guyver I — everyone else. The standard. The classic. Balanced across every stat. No weaknesses. The form Chronos uses as the benchmark for everything they build to kill you. ────────────────────────────────────────────── ★ THREE ABILITIES — TRANSFORMED STATE ONLY ▸ Sonic Buster — a 5-tile radius burst of focused vibration. Stuns and damages everything in the area. Ideal for when six Zoanoids are in the same room. ▸ Head Beam — precision infrared laser from the forehead. High single-target burn. Melt through armour on priority targets. ▸ High-Frequency Swords — 30 seconds of elbow blades vibrating at molecular-disruption frequency. Armour stops mattering. Use on Heavy Zoanoids. Use often. ────────────────────────────────────────────── ★ BIO-REGENERATION SYSTEM Stay transformed. The Control Medal keeps you alive. ▸ Wound healing — 5 HP every 5 seconds across all active injuries. Gunshot wounds close in under 20 seconds. ▸ Scar removal — old permanent injuries are erased one at a time, every ~50 seconds. The medal works backwards through every injury your colonist has ever taken. ▸ Limb regrowth — missing fingers, eyes, toes can come back. Takes about 2 minutes per part. Not guaranteed every cycle, but it happens. ────────────────────────────────────────────── ★ HOW TO GET STARTED Two ways: EASY WAY — watch for the "Creator artifact crash-landed" event. A transport pod drops a free Guyver Unit on your map. Pick it up before Chronos does. CRAFTING WAY — research "bio-booster armor interface" at a Hi-Tech Research Bench. Craft a Guyver Unit at the Fabrication Bench (Crafting 15, Plasteel/Gold/Spacer components + 1 Control Medal). The Control Medal can't be crafted — you get it from Chronos raids. Or, **if you just want to play and skip the grind, toggle "Allow Control Medal crafting" in Mod Settings.** BUT REMEMBER TO RESTART THE GAME TO MAKE IT WORK ────────────────────────────────────────────── ★ CHRONOS CORPORATION — YOUR NEW PERMANENT ENEMY Chronos spawns 1–2 settlements on the world map. They know about your Guyver. They are coming. ▸ Chronos Recovery Operations — large military raids from day 8. Soldiers, Zoanoids, and Heavy Zoanoids. Escalates as the game progresses. ▸ Zoanoid Ambushes — smaller fast-strike raids, from day 5. Hit your map and your caravans. Biotech DLC, Chronos pawns spawn as actual gene-carrying xenotypes: Basic Zoanoids: Gregole (brute), Enzyme (acid, calm, deadly), Vamore (fast hunter), Ramotith (ape-mass), Zerbebuth (berserk crustacean), Derzerb (heat-discharge, impenetrable skin) Heavy Zoanoids: standard Heavy, Hyancith (maximum class, barely recognisable as humanoid), Aptom (Lost Number — adaptive biology, cold precision, Chronos fears it) Soldiers: Chronos Enhanced (subtle human bio-augmentation, indistinguishable from baseline) ────────────────────────────────────────────── ★ COMPATIBILITY ✓ RimWorld 1.6 ✓ Biotech DLC — Zoanoid xenotypes ✓ Royalty / Ideology / Anomaly — no conflicts expected ✓ Harmony required (free on Workshop) ────────────────────────────────────────────── ★ A NOTE FROM THE MODDER This is a passion project built from love for the Guyver manga series.
